Just spent a lovely night for our silver wedding anniversary in the Curlew hut. We were so happy with the hut, everything you could want was there. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows, muesli and bread and butter and milk. Lovely bathroom, with towels, robes, the lot. The hot tub was amazing. Even tho we live only a few miles away, it was so relaxing. I’d definitely recommend it and we’re definitely going to return again. Thank you for making our anniversary special x
Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our short stay at the Eyebright Hut. The location is perfect for exploring Rothbury, Simonside, and Cragside. The hut itself had everything we needed, with thoughtful touches like bread, milk and hot drinks. The hot tub was a extra special addition! We enjoyed watching the wildlife while keeping warm beside the log burner. Tim, the owner, is an excellent host and made sure our stay was completely stress-free. We would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!”

The best 2 nights solo stay for relaxing and enjoying the Northumberland countryside.
For such a compact Shepards Hut it has everything that you could possibly need, very impressed the living space and how thoughtful the owners are in providing more than the essentials.
Loved the little hobbit stove inside for making it extra cozy and the hot tub outside was perfect.
Will definitely be staying here again.

It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The space felt peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding and disconnecting for a bit. Everything I needed was provided, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the hut house to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing place to stay, and I’d happily come back again.
Just spent the weekend in the Leveret hut. Absolutely fantastic stay. Loved every minute of it. The huts are well equipped with everything you could need and the hot tub is a bonus. The owner sorted out any issues really quickly and was very informative about our stay. Would definitely recommend and think we’ll return again.
