Very nice, had the large Sunday roast. And it was huge. Fresh veg and plenty of everything else. Definitely recommend.
Book for Sunday lunch/early dinner in busier times. I’m stayed at the caravan park site round the corner.
    That’s a great site.

    Food review only.

We’ve eaten here several times for evening bar meals which have always been unpretentious but beautifully prepared

We visited at the end of September 2025 and the food was not up to the usual standard:
    floppy greasy chips, inadequately drained
    burnt pizza
veggie burger described as served with “lettuce and mayo” but no lettuce or mayo – just a cold dry bun with a Quorn burger inside it

Maybe it was the chef’s night off

Lovely surprise ; great food we had baguette which was full of meat and excellent value and kipper pate which was excellent . Fast, efficient service and dogs allowed .

Visited yesterday after a walk from Craster to dunstanburgh Castle. Carpark tricky to find but glad we persevered. Greeted with a warm lovely welcome. The waitress got us a fresh bowl of water for our dog. Super friendly service from the waitress and the bar staff. Food well priced, portions massive and a great find. Thanks
