We got married here in August 25 and it was perfect. From preparations to the wedding day the hotel staff were very helpful. Jenna even assisted us with finding a photographer, Dj and decorators. And on the day Kim was amazing. We stayed there a few times before the wedding and we knew this was our venue! We look back at our pictures and everything was perfect and we know we wouldn’t have done it if the venue staff did not assist us the way they did. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely relaxing stay here in beautiful surroundings. The room was spacious and comfortable with both a multi-jet shower and a spa bath in the en suite. The food was lovely and tasty and the cocktails were amazing. Breakfast had a really good selection and was a relaxed experience. The staff were all friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately due to me being unwell, we weren’t able to take advantage of the spa facilities but they looked really good. Parking wasn’t an issue as there was plenty of space. Highly recommended 10/10

Took my elderly parents out for a ‘festive’ afternoon tea on Monday afternoon. Very disappointed with the standard & execution of the whole afternoon tea, we won’t be going back there again & definitely not worth the ÂŁ84 price tag.
We were a party of 4 & wanted to be able to bring the dog in with us instead of her being left in the car. The staff said they could set a table in the bar but in the event of doing so I wish we had left the dog in the car! The bar was very busy & the only table was dirty & on the side of the corridor going along to the bar which turned out to be very draughty from the front reception area & made my elderly Mum quite cold & uncomfortable. The restaurant, meanwhile, is vast & empty!
The table was set for tea by the time I came back from the ladies but they had completely missed the previous occupants cream smears & crumbs before setting it! I tried to get the restaurant manager’s attention as she passed by to be told she would see what I wanted on her way back..she didn’t do so & as we waited for the tea to arrive I had to ask the waiter when he bought coffee etc. He promptly cleaned the table for us as we moved all our cutlery & stuff around – shoddy! The snooty manager did make a point of dropping by us later as we were eating & chatting to say we needed to pay at restaurant desk before we left – really rude & unprofessional.
The festive tea was very poor overall, don’t know where the festive bit of it was & not at all as expected from the leaflet advertising the tea. The sandwiches were meagre per person & had started to go dry on the outside, 1 tiny bacon wrapped sausage each, tiny mince pie & the fruit /plain scones were like rock cakes. Nobody asked about allergies – a peanut butter chocolate torte & marzipan battenberg were both on the cake stands.
Nobody came to ask if it was all ok, if we wanted or needed anything or to offer a top up our tea & coffee pots.
The staff were cold & unwelcoming, we paid & left to find a queue at reception that was enormous which we had to navigate through to leave.

The stay was very good value for money. The room was large and clean and comfortable. The spa was a little too busy and the pool could have been warmer. The breakfast was solid with enough choice. Again a little too busy with a fair wait a the drinks station for hot drinks. Would stay again!

Stay last weekend for one night.
Lovely place although abit disappointed with a few things .
We had booked package which included the spa. We weren’t giving any robes or towels as some customers were giving just a small towel. The spa it self was quite busy and struggled to get in the sauna, steam room, hot tub. The spa itself was aboustley freezing making it unbearable to sit and relax when getting out of the poo.
Food on the night time was very nice and service was great .
The room was lovely and clean but around about 1:30am we woke up to the room being so hot , we looked to see if we could turn the heating down anywhere but we couldn’t. It was very uncomfortably hot making it difficult to sleep . Did mention this to reception when checking out .
Would of liked to come back but mainly because of how busy the spa was feel like we didn’t get out money’s worth at all and due to how cold it was in there we didn’t actually spend much time is the spa which was disappointing as it was supposed to be a well deserved relaxing night away .
