Just returned from another great, week long stay at Oakwood Cottages. A favourite holiday destination for mine and my extended family. Rachel and Steve are very warm, welcoming and helpful hosts. The cottages are very high spec and a great base from which to explore Northumberland.
Lovely Easter break at No.1 Oakwood Cottage. Immaculate, well equipped cottage. Cot, baby gate and highchair available for our toddler. Rachel is a warm and friendly host. Perfect base for exploring Northumberland. We enjoyed it so much that we are booked again already!
I just recently stayed at Oakwood Cottages and I have to say the standard was very high. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The owner, Rachel, was very welcoming and left us a lovely hamper on arrival with all the essentials. It is located just off the A1, so it is very convenient to get to lots of different places. I would recommend these super cottages.
A beautiful pair of cottages set just off the A1, so really easy to get to. Really nicely finished, with everything that you would expect in a holiday cottage (washing machine dishwasher, etc). The property was lovely and clean on arrival, and is really spacious. Rachel put up stair gates for our little one, and supplied a highchair and travel cot. We will certainly be back to stay again in the future
I stayed at Oakwood Cottages with my family recently and had a lovely stay. The cottage was so clean and tidy and had everything you could possibly need. The welcome hamper of essentials was appreciated and thoughtful. Thank you to the owner, Rachel, for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend these cottages.
