I recently visited for a pre-booked talk with my partner. While the presentation wasn’t my cup of tea, I spent the time exploring the extensive grounds and the beach overlooking Morecambe Bay, where I found a wonderful sense of peace. It’s clearly a beloved spot, well-visited by local families and dog walkers—truly a hidden gem. The site features a great cafe, and every staff member and volunteer we encountered was friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a spiritual connection or just a beautiful natural retreat, this is a very special place worth visiting.
A lovely day out spent in a beautiful, peaceful place. Experienced guided, group meditation for the first time which was so tranquil and calming. The temple itself is stunning, in a well maintained garden, amongst 70 acres of land.
There are accessible toilets, a cafe, and gift shop. My friend and I explored the woodlands and followed the easy access pathway down to the waterfront.
It’s an absolutely stunning and peaceful location. The grounds are beautiful and historic. Open dawn till dusk, you can even walk down to the beach. The World Peace Café is lovely, and it was glorious to be sat outside, enjoying the tranquillity of the gardens and surrounded by various visiting pups and their families.
A lovely shop with welcoming and friendly service.
I was lucky enough to catch the Wednesday lunchtime meditation taster in the temple itself. It was wonderful and just what I needed. A beautiful visit, looking forward to my next already.
Beautiful tranquil place. Went for a free meditation session at 12.30. Went for something to eat at the cafe. Then went for a walk through the woods, didn’t go to the beach today. Had a beautiful afternoon.
Lovely place to visit. Very calm and peaceful. We popped in for the guided meditation. The lady that guided us through the meditation was lovely, she was worried about her Mexican accent but she spoke perfect English. The temple is a wonderful place, the meditation was very good, it really had a positive effect in me, I was able to clear my mind and I saw golden statues and red swirls in my mind! Well worth a visit if you are anywhere near!
