A really wild and beautiful island. Easy to get away from the crowds. Lots of historic and botanical interest. The only place that you can see the Lindisfarne Helleborine with lots of other orchids.

Although very popular there are plenty of quiet stretches of beach away from the town and Castle. Plenty of parking and places to eat, toilets in the coach park are portable loos but these where clean and tidy when we visited. Some really nice views out over the causeway and the Castle, worth a visit even when busy.

My favourite perfect little island, you do need a good calm sunny day to enjoy it at its best and good tide times, check well beforehand

if you need to recharge your batteries, this is the place to be, busy during the days and peaceful during the night, would recommend and weekend stay to anyone !

Beautiful place, just a bit dissapointed when tide went out everything shuts as staff live on the mainland and once tide is in your totally cut off, lovely day tho just check the tide times or you cannot leave.
