Our stay at Skylark was truly exceptional and felt wonderfully magical, especially for my girls. Staying in a beautifully designed treehouse surrounded by nature was an unforgettable experience, and the excitement it brought to the kids made the trip even more special. The peaceful setting combined with the sense of adventure created a perfect family escape.
The treehouse itself was thoughtfully designed with a lovely balance of comfort and luxury. The fully equipped kitchenette had everything we needed, making our stay effortless and relaxing. We especially appreciated the firewood provided, which added a cosy and welcoming touch to the evenings. The complimentary cakes on arrival were a delightful surprise and absolutely delicious — a small detail that made us feel genuinely welcomed.
Although we experienced a minor issue with the decking lights on our final night, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of our stay. The children remained full of excitement, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time. Skylark is a truly special retreat that offers both luxury and magic, creating moments that families — especially children — will cherish for a long time. We would gladly return in the future.
An absolutely stunning hideaway in the Northumberland National Park. The coziest of cabins, with all amenities provided for you to make the most of the trip. We didn’t have the best weather but we still managed to make the most of the hut – to be honest the shepherds hut was made all the more adorable in the mist & rain.
The mattress was super comfy, and the decor has inspired me to change my home comforts. The kitchenette had everything we needed along with a wood burner to ensure we were toasty and warm.
The decking hosted a wood burner fuelled bath and this was wonderful. I didn’t realise how long it would take to fill & heat – but don’t let this put you off! A lovely place to enjoy the scenery.
2 nights well spent, I wish I had chosen to stay more. I most definitely will return ✨🥰
Absolutely fantastic get away, the huts are amazing.. we have visited as a family staying in Holly and Rowan, highly recommend to anyone, there’s nothing quite like it. Very unique experience and the dark skies are amazing. Typing as i sit by the campfire under the stars. We have made some amazing memories these last two days that im sure will stay with all of us for a very long time.. until our next visit!

Magical. We stayed in Skylark and the attention to detail is impressive, with beautiful craftsmanship matched by luxurious interior design – especially the bed. We loved our walks around the woods and my husband had a fishing lesson, just a 20 minute walk from the huts. I’m so glad to have experienced a stay in this lovely place – next stay, I’d like to try Raven.
I love all the huts and amazed by every little attention to detail. Skylark is a slice of heaven surrounded by beautiful nature and animals. The best place to have breakfast on the balcony and dinner by the fire pit. An incredibly peaceful getaway in a charming rural area. Staying in Holly in a couple of weeks as loved it so much ❤️
