Fantastic venue with so much attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. 10 of us spent the weekend at Falstone Barns and I can’t recommend the place highly enough. We were celebrating my Mother’s 80th birthday and the owner left a card for her which was a lovely touch.
Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the facility with the family. Central location, thus able to access Kielder Waterside activities and more. Our hosts were excellent. Loved the French bourgeois theme apartment. As a bonus we got a night of star gazing- a Lovely view of the night sky from our apartment.Totally recommend this place.
Enjoy the peace and quiet of Falstone Barns, hides at the back of the village. Leave the phone at home as you want get a signal, but then why would you want to brake the peace and quiet.
We used the Barns as an over night bases, the place is well present and clean, the rooms are very spacious, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was very nice. The welcome book had all the information we needed for our stay.
The closed shop is a few miles away, keep that in mind when booking.
We booked all 4 of the apartments at Falstone Barns for a family get together and had an amazing time. Each apartment has been renovated and decorated to an extremely high standard and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay complete. Warm fireplaces, cozy beds and very quiet if you want it to be. Have to recommend the Pheasant Inn for fabulous food too. We’ll definitely be back in the summer for another break to hopefully make use of the bbq and lovely courtyard.
Overpriced for what it is, reading other reviews I agree fully with their statements made. The decorating/furniture is really dated and clashes heavily with the modern facilities.
I stayed in the ‘Versace Glamour’ barn for all of one night and the price was ÂŁ175 and considering the check-in was 16:00 and the check-out is 10:00 that’s a huge amount to pay for that much time there. In addition to this, the hot water ran out soon after using the shower which brought it down in my estimations.
The place needs a real revamp before charging that much in my opinion.
