Really nice cottage in a nice quiet location with a stream nearby, lots of wildlife visits the enclosed garden and you feel like you’re away from everything while you are there.
The cottage itself was clean and died out to a high standard.
If you want to get away from it all this is a great location and as a family we loved every minute.
This is a fabulous cottage, Elaine and Jonathan have done a marvellous job on restoring this and its sister cottage across the court yard they have thought of evetything. We have been holidaying here for the last five years as we live the cottage and the area. It is in an ideal location to visit the local area. If you have furry friends with you there are many lovely walks and access to the Galloway Forest is easy. Kirroughtree Forest is within walkable distance Would recommend without hesitation.
A lovely, we’ll equipped cottage and away from the hustle and bustle. Dogs welcomed. Set in a wonderful location. Red squirrels and birds to be seen from the garden. Well worth booking
Excellent cottage, enjoyed every minute of our holiday. The wildlife was brilliant, the peace and quiet too. Going to book for next year!!
It’s not a hotel! It’s a rental cottage – a very nice one at that – good location – plenty of good walks in the area. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Internet speed good and reliable.
