What a revelation this place was, just outside of Bellingham. Set in a beautiful undisturbed location, very tranquil.
The room we had was immaculately clean and spacious. Tea, coffee etc provided and a hairdryer.
You can have full use of the kitchen facilities here, which again was immaculate.
Friendly host to greet us. A joy to stay here.
On a personal note, my father told me that my late mother had once been here as an evacuee during the war as a little girl.

The lodges are in a great location, pretty central to a lot of site seeing locations.
The rooms were lovely and clean. We had the room with disabled access because my wife is a wheelchair user. It was absolutely fine. The wetroom was a really good size.
There was a shared kitchen area. With all the basic amenities.
Lovely place to stay. We rented a lodge, it was basic inside the only let down was no attention to detail. For example, we had to take our own toilet paper/kitchen roll, no kitchen surface cleaner, no salt/pepper, no cooking amenities like foil, greaseproof paper sandwich bags etc. My partner and I often rent places like this and they have always provided basic amenities. You are expected to take everything with you. Value for money if 6 people are staying but not for 2 people. With a change of attitude from the owners they could make the lodges a bit more homely for very little outlay.
Beautiful, peaceful location Stayed in a lodge, fully equipt, very clean, comfy beds, good shower. Owners are on site and are very helpful. Nice walk or 10 minutes drive to Bellingham which has pubs, Co-op, butcher, chemist, post office, gift shop and a lovely shop called Lunch, where you can pick up lovely pies and cakes.
We had a lovely stay at Brownriggs, would definitely recommend
Just spent two nights there with friends and found the place absolutely perfect. You won’t be disappointed.
