So, with this in mind we decided to look at the quiet side of living on this planet to provide an alternative to the common pathway of noise and busyness.

Why the Church Mouse?
Have you ever seen a mouse in a church? Neither have we although they are most certainly there and probably the main reason that they are not seen is because they are quiet.
In fact they could only be more silent if they were wearing mouse sized slippers – so, for a quiet based website The Church Mouse is perfect.
The name is also inspired by my late uncle David, who ran a gaming zine in the late 70s early 80s, which he named The Church Mouse.
He passed away in 1996 having fought a painful yet silent, non complaining battle with leukemia.
So in putting together this website TheChurchMouse.net is a tribute to his quiet and courageous fight with that dreadful illness.
