Stylish B &B. Very welcoming hosts. Lovely extra touches like cake on arrival, gorgeous Lakes toiletries to use in the fabulous bathroom. Booked their Delicatessen platter for supper, served in the guest lounge – delicious. Helpful advice about walking routes to Shap.
This was the BEST BnB we’ve ever stayed in. It was quaint, comfortable, roomy, quiet, and provided wonderful homemade food. Loved the rainshower. Bathroom large, electric heaters, marvelous toiletries. Don’t miss getting one of their platters—almost too beautiful to eat biut very glad we did. You will not regret staying here—guaranteed.
Lovely hosts and great views from the room in the quiet nature. The room was very comfy and warm, the bathroom was new and modern with warm hot running water – nice after a long hike! Breakfast was included and delicious with a big variety – the homemade banana bread and full english in particular!! We home to come back again! Thank you Adam and Julia 🙂
Crookabeck B&B is set in an idyllic location with good hiking routes straight from the door and pubs within walking distance.
Adam and Julia were great hosts.
Both the breakfasts and the evening meal they prepared were excellent.
The accommodation was really nicely presented.
I really couldn’t fault anything with our stay.

My dad and I stayed at Crookabeck a few weeks ago whilst doing the Coast to Coast. It was luxury having our own lounge with TV, and to be warmly welcomed with freshly baked cake. Adam and Julia provided us with a delicious evening meal, and a superb breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful b and b, just a couple of hundred metres off the C2C route.
