Beautiful site with stunning views and a wilderness to walk your dog. Plenty opportunities to let your dog off lead away from any hazards. Beautiful river to enjoy or fish etc.
Site has all the necessary amenities and is clean and well maintained.
I tend to go there for New Year and it can get very cold, icy and has had snow last year too.
Only thing to mention is that the water supply to the touring area freezes so is switched off in winter months, water can be obtained from top of site. I have a motorhome so just took a drive up when I needed to fill up, just be prepared for this, however, it is not a hardship at all.
Owners are so lovely and nothing is a bother to them.
Site is approx 14 miles from Keilder and approx 16 miles from Jedburgh.

Lovely little campsite will definitely return. We stayed in our tourer on hard standing by the river. The owners are lovely people and the two pigs are very cute. Toilets and showers are clean and tidy. What more do you want. Would recommend

My partner and I camped on our campervan here for 3 nights and found the place to be brilliantly located with access to the forest area behind a real gem, especially with having a dog too.

Facilities (Toilets and kitchen area) were great, and located right next to the camp sites.

Will definitely be returning in the future 🙏🏽
