What a lovely relaxing break. We wanted a holiday in a remote spot & this was perfect. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Be prepared to take food or book a Tesco’s delivery because shops are few and far between. There was a power cut but it couldn’t be helped & with a few fairy lights it made for a very romantic evening! It’s also close to the observatory should you wish to book on one of the events there. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing, currently on a 4 night stay in the kielder cottage, accommodation and host is simply faultless. Location is a perfect base. Can’t wait to come back and haven’t even left yet. 5 stars is not enough.
The best campsite, facilities are truly 5 stars, clean and modern. Inside the deceptively big cabin were toilets, showers and a washing area. Washing machines were expensive but we didn’t end up using them (£1 for every 15 minutes of a wash cycle). Bring a good torch with you for the evening. Would highly recommend.
Stunning lodge, a home from home!
From the information received at booking to the checking out, everything was brilliant. Jackie was so helpful with information and was available if we needed anything. The lodge itself was absolutely stunning, meticulously clean and well presented and had everything in it you could possibly need. It’s warm, comfortable and perfectly situated. The hot tub was also perfectly clean and always running. I genuinely can’t sing the praises of this place highly enough. We will definitely be returning
I can’t think of a single thing that could have possibly improved our stay
Our second time visiting this site, first in a lodge, second in the cottage. Both times amazing! it is so quiet and peaceful here.
The stars and skies at night were amazing, just have to pray there’s no clouds!
The staff/owners came and checked the hot tub every day and do an amazing job on the site!
Will definitely be visiting again!
