    A dream.
Can not fault this place at all. The staff are amazing. Food was delightful and the spa tranquil. Perfect for a recharge. Location great for the beach and walks into Seaham. Which had a variety of shops, bars and statues. Will definitely be turning soon.
We stayed in a coastal lodge and it was better than well equipped. There was nothing I needed that wasnt there. Plenty of towels so uou dont have to use the bath ones for the hot tub. Robe and slippers were a lovely touch too. The kitchen had a dishwasher, washer dryer, cooker, hob, microwave and large fridge freezer. You could definitely have done a week or more with no hassle. Tea coffee sugar salt pepper washing tablets and tea towels provided.

Seaham Hall Spa Review — 5 Stars my birthday 19th of January.

I had the most exceptional spa experience at Seaham Hall and can honestly say it was five-star from entry to exit.

From the moment I arrived, the greeting area and entry service were outstanding. Walking into the building genuinely felt like stepping into another country — the welcome was seamless, warm, and impeccably professional.

My expectations were honestly low, only because I have paid hundreds before for “luxury” spa experiences that have been very mediocre. Seaham Hall completely blew my expectations out of the water. Every detail felt considered, elevated, and truly premium.

A special mention to the beauty therapist: exemplary dress code, outstanding hygiene standards, and an incredible therapy skill set. The treatment felt expertly delivered with real attention to technique, pressure, and professionalism — the kind of care that immediately reassures you that you are in the best hands.

The food was also outstanding, and the team celebrated my birthday in style. I was genuinely wined and dined — and I have never been wined and dined in my life. It made the entire day feel so special, thoughtful, and memorable.

The price point was excellent, and to be honest I would have paid double for the level of service, quality, and overall experience. I cannot believe this is only 20 minutes from where I live.

I wish I had stayed the night because I genuinely did not want to leave. I will be rebooking ASAP. Wow.

Really disappointing stay. We stayed 2 nights as a relaxing spa break. We were informed ahead of our stay that the outside spa area was having some work done but the use of the rest of the spa would be uninterrupted by this. Unfortunately this was far from the truth. They’ve got JCB’s literally the other side of the glass with industrial jackhammers breaking concrete out. The noise is unbearable and the entire building shakes. Its the middle of January and the weather was awful, so we ended up spending most of the time in our room, waiting for the workers to finish at 6pm and grabbing an hour at the spa before dinner. We raised these issues at the spa reception, who directed us to the hotel reception. They said their Ops Manager would get in touch to offer some resolution. It was a couple of weeks ago now, and nothing but crickets. Pretty shambolic for what’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel. They said the work is carrying on till April – I’d strongly advise staying somewhere else if youre looking for a relaxing break before then (or after). Go to Middleton Lodge instead, I wish we had.

We booked here once again at the restaurant. Christmas time so thectrees were oride of place too. It has staff who keep descreatly tucked out of sight but at the same time are checking the needs of customers. I would say the staff in the retaurant and later at the bar are really attentive. Later we asked could we go check out where the Spa is placed. Its a lovely walk with lots of greenary around and buddha is there with running water nearby. All in all it is a place to unwind before you reach the spa area. Well done staff . Thank you once again for our memorable evening

Visited for a spa day, the facilities were okay, an upgrade to the steam room / jacuzzi would be nice as they look a little dated, but generally enjoyed the spa. chlorine in one of the jacuzzis was too much (burnt my nose and eyes) I left quickly. The massage rooms were good and the heated bed a nice touch, the temple spa products were lovely too. I didn’t like the lunch, I had the pork and it was too salty, the whole dish didn’t work for me. Overall the ambience is nice just a few things to note to make it better.
