We have visited The Haven 22 times over the years. There is a reason why we keep returning. The cottage is in a beautiful location with the village and beach on the doorstep. There are so many beautiful places to visit and The Haven makes the perfect base for exploring. Lynn is the perfect host in that the cottage is always clean, welcoming and is home from home. Everything in the cottage is excellently maintained and very well equipped with everything you could need whilst on holiday.
The 2 of us enjoyed a lovely stay at The Haven for the May half term. Bamburgh is somwhere we have visited and stayed at many times before but The Haven will most definitely be on our favourites list to return to. Very clean, welcoming and really well equipped with lots of little extras already provided as part of the stay. Comfy bed and ample bathroom. Great views of the castle at the back, the sea at the side and over the fields at the front. Drive to tuck the car away on and a little patio area at the rear to sit in and enjoy the sunshine, the birds and the bees visiting the flower beds. Also a handy gate out to the shared short cut leading to the green. Nothing not to like. Host really helpful if needed. Highly recommend this little gem of a cottage.
Stayed at this beautiful cottage for many years. It is in the perfect location for village and beach. The cottage itself has everything you need, very well equipped and comfortable. We can’t wait to return again soon.
