Spent a week here as part of a retreat. I cannot say enough good things about Shepherds Dene. The staff are amazing and make requests happen easily. Food excellent and service so good. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. An excellent place to retreat to.
Shepherd’s Dene will always be, to me, a special place – of reflection, prayer, healing and retreat. A warm welcome, good food and comfortable accommodation, coupled with glorious views and a peaceful, prayerful garden.

So peaceful. Rooms comfortable. Staff so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Food great cookies to die for. Lovely walks garden and grounds beautiful. My heaven on earth.
A peaceful friendly retreat. Staff are so helpful and warm. There seems to be a never-ending supply of wonderful home cooked cakes and biscuits. Don’t go if you want to lose weight!
